Guys and Gals, you are missing the boat by not participating in this outlaw class. I guarantee we have more fun, or at least as much fun as the pistol shooters with our stages. If you don't have the equipment, don't worry, we do and will gladly let you guys jump in with us. All you need is a 100 pack of Winchester White Box 9mm 115 Grain ammo from Walmart, and if this is too much to ask, then let me know and I will provide you with ammo. I swear this is the most fun you will have with a firearm, and you will have a blast. Hell, we usually make the rules up as we go, we can, we are not a formally recognized class and always err on the side of caution towards new shooters.
Let me know if you are interested and I can guarantee the experience will be worth a little more time on the range.

Come on members we are approaching an upcoming match. This is a new and incredibly fun division that I guarantee you will enjoy. I dare anybody to challenge my offer, where I will provide the equipment needed to compete with, and if you don't have fun then I will reimburse you any expenses, with ammo or match fees you have put out.

PCC is all sorts of fun. All the cool kids are doing it.

And the not-so-cool kids like Mitch. If you are lucky you might even see some of us usual's wearing helmets. Well, helmets with video cameras attached. I need some videos for USPSA.

Can I be part of the cool kids too??

I don't know, to qualify you must be able to keep a good sense of humor, and be dumb enough to get all of our jokes. Also, skin thickness is a definite requirement. You have to be able to take all of our shit, when you screw up, and yes we all do, and it is usually hilarious. If you can provide us cool kids with some form of hilariousosity, I just made that up, like we usually do with the run throughs, and you can pass the initiation with our Goat named Sue, then yes, you can be one of us cool kids.

Outlaw class?
GOAT?!

Don't worry about the goat, that is only if you want to be one of the cool kids. Anyway, this is a class that our club runs that is not sanctioned by any national entity, like IDPA or USPSA. We basically shoot the same stages with rifles instead of pistols. Due to the fact that we use steel targets in the stages, we are limited to pistol caliber carbines.
You are welcome to join us, I know you are an AK guy, but we can find you a AR or Beretta to borrow.

...or take a mike for the steel
Also you get put in the corner with the dunce hat since you blow the pasters off targets closer than 10' :D

So, is there a mag capacity limit for PCC shoots? I just got a sweet deal on EIGHT Pro-Mag 32-rounders, hope I can use them....

Beta mags do not carry enough ammo for the plate rack and the Texas star. I am thinking at least two 100 rounds belts spliced together might be enough. Of course Mitch will probably need three.

You guys are making me regret buying that AR instead of getting a CX4 and a bunch of cheap 92 mags!

The words "reliable" and "9mm ar-15" don't seem to go together very well.
otoh, they do look pretty damn cool (which is at least half the fun):)
