Unfortunately I am doing scores with about the same success as I am shooting.

I also noticed that not one person asked if anything had happened to me or if I was OK:confused:

Just like a bunch of shooters, it is all about them;)

Surely, you must realize that it's Blake's health I'm interrested in now- flap, flap.:p

Gary feel free to replace Matts name with mine in your will.

I am always concerned with your health and well being.

OK, I am getting tired of actual club contributors getting dog piled on. If anybody in this thread or on the range, thinks they could do a better job than the VOLUNTEERS who are doing the actual work, then be a man and step up. Don't try to run off the good guys we have already putting forth the energy.

Kirk, you are given a pass, you have donated your time and energy. This rant is not directed towards to you. You did fine by asking first, I get your joke.

And Gary, Mitch, Matt, Paul, Mike, and the other volunteers who offer their time to keep this club going, you are doing fine. We know you have other time constraints and the members that matter, realize we are getting a bargain for what we are paying you. Please, keep up the good work, we know that sometimes things come up.

This rant is just being placed in this post, it is not directed to anyone in particular, I just have been hearing some stuff that is not productive. Our volunteers are trying to create an enjoyable match environment and are getting tired of being used, and not getting any appreciation.

Come to me with your issues with our club, don't ever speak badly about my contributors. We don't pay them enough for the grief, and I am serious, if you have any issues, let me know. That is my job.

I took all the comments to be in good fun Jason, but I am sure all understand your comments. Actually I thought the "hand delivered" would have come from Matt Blake, and I am sure he is kicking himself for not thinking of it:)

Thanks anyway.

Gary

I don't shoot well enough to get all hot and bothered about the scores. I'd like to thank Jason for having the balls to say what I was thinking, however. Hairy, you stole my thunder! Frankly, some of the comments I heard pissed me off. Man up and help, or shut up and enjoy the shooting. I enjoy this sport, and the people in it, and I help in order to be able to participate. Constructive criticism is always welcome, but I can do without the bitching.

I'm a new guy, and I have to tell you all that I have been pleased and amazed by the level of.... fellowship? I have encountered here. I knew only a couple of the guys before I applied for membership, but everyone I have encountered has been 100 percent stand-up. Hell, the first time I came out, a certain someone invited me to shoot his FA M4. You know I jumped on that! So, on the range and off, I'm just happy to be included.

By the way, I was at the range a couple weekends ago, and two fellows I did not know expressed an interest in my Beretta CX4. I immediately let them look it over. Now, I'm wary of allowing people unknown to me fire my weapons, but I thought about the man inviting me to shoot that M4. I think I caught them both off-guard when I asked them if they wanted to try the CX4. I'm not posting this up to toot my own horn, but to let the M4 owner know that the lesson is being paid forward.

I like it here. I like the volunteer spirit. If I can contribute more, I'n up for that.

You guys who already do that?

THANK YOU!

It was me Kirk aka Wheelgunner that you let shoot the Storm. Very nice by the way. I have got to shoot and handle so many cool guns since I have been there, I appreciate it. I know that I am a new member and really, if I did overstep by poking at Gary I am sorry. I understand the rant was not directed toward anyone, but I am the new guy. I am a guy who loves to joke. I agree with what Slade said as to why. The relationships with all of the fellas there are great. I am comfortable and would fully expect a little crap be thrown my way. By the way Matt Blake makes sure of that nearly each time I see him. I am a little weird and I like it. With a mug like this I have had a lot of it through my life. Just to let you know.

Hey, I was glad to do it! Was it you or your buddy who was looking at buying one? I'm still sore that both of you guys did better with my gun than I was doin'!

Dag! I thought poking Gary was like, a rite of passage or something. That, and having Gary claw you like a grizzly.

Seems to have gone far enough and begun drifting.

Lets close this out.

Move along nothing to see here.
