Guys, I am looking for opinions on an upper for a new SBR AR 15. I have been leaning towards the Larue Stealth upper, but the shortest it comes in is 12.5. I would like to build one in 10.5 if possible. Do any of you guys have any suggestions on a reliable upper? Especially considering I never intend on shooting it unsupressed.

Thanks

I had Adco chop a 16" and it works fine. I have a buddy that bought a cheap A1 Sales 10.5 at Knob Creek this year and somewhat surprisingly, it also works fine.

I use a regular Bushmaster 11.5 inch. It works fine.

Do you carry the pigs? I was going to order one from Brownelles once I had a large enough order to pay for the shipping.

We are set up with them. Just got one for my Dads SBR. Not sure if our price is that good though.

How long does it take for you to get them? If you have them in stock, send me one tomorrow.

When we called last week they said it would be a couple weeks then called back and said they found one. So i am not sure how long to get more. What can you buy them for? Not sure how good our price is.

To resurrect an old thread, here is my friend Rob's SBR:

Nice, is he a lefty? It seems like the light would be easier to operate on the other side. After noticing how he has his sling set-up, I guess he probably is right handed. How does he hold onto the FG?

The X200/X300's work really well on the support side rail. You cradle the VFG and leave your left thumb pointing forward along the left side of the rail. You can then apply pressure to the switch with with your left thumb. It's really a pretty slick setup.

Cool, thanks, I will give this a try. I am not too happy with my pressure switches. They seem to take too much pressure to actually work. I will give this a try.
