I'm having some trouble switching from USPSA to IDPA, So my question is during IDPA would you guys let me use a shotgun? That may not help though...

Only if you can carry it behind the centerline of the pants and it can be concealed:eek:

I am trying to think of what division to score that one in?!?!

Since shoulder holsters are prohibited (page 34, Rule Book, :D ) I can't help you with a rig for the scattergun.

With double ought (OO) buckshot, 9 pellets to the load, you should be able to get enough hits in the -0/-1 scoring zones to avoid a Failure To Neutralize penalty. And you could do even better with #4 buckshot, with 27 pellets to the load.

But then, taping the targets could get to be a real problem. The club might object to having to buy more pasters....lots and lots of pasters

I wonder if they make speedloaders for that blaster!

The REVOlution welcomes almost any and all wheelgunners, and we do not discriminate against the accuracy challenged. (IF you saw me miss the head shot on Stage #1, you'll know why we don't laugh at victims of "MIKE's" disease)

According to our local IDPA Range Officers, we will begin shooting the IDPA stages with pistol caliber carbines. YEAH:D

Remind me not to buy that type of PCC.....

I posted some preliminary info about PCC on another thread, but for further info.

Start position will be specified in the stage description (like low ready, on sling, port arms, on table, or something else)

Magazines can be loaded to capacity BUT
We may specify on some stages that call for an Emergency Reload that the gun will start with a specific load (like 6 rounds) to force an Emergency Reload. IF SO, we will write that into the stage description

Use of cover/concealment, target engagement sequences etc will follow normal IDPA procedures/rules. (that's cover/concealment as in staying behind walls, corners, desks, etc)

Any other questions, ask BCP307. He knows more about PCC then I do.

Thanks, Ducky. I am sure we can screw it up as bad as we do USPSA.

Shooting that AR from concealment is going to be fun.

I sincerely hope that you don't buy that type of PCC. So far however, it seems like that is the only kind of PCC there is... At one point, I made it over a year without any malfunctions during a match but those days seem to be over. I think we've all seen that as we've pushed the carbines they've started to choke.

I keeping with your Wild West, six shooter theme, maybe you could shoot a lever action.:)
