The Board has decided to venture into something a little new. It will be a charity match. Different organizations could be designated each year to receive the proceeds of the match.
This year we are going to hold a 5-6 stage match to benefit the Little Sandy Correctional Facility Marksmanship Unit. The match will tentatively be held on May 29. We hope to have several of the correctional facility folks shoot this event as it is for their benefit. This is not on the club calendar as of yet, but will be shortly.
We are going to use IDPA scoring and targets, but the shooting part will be more USPSA type.
The divisions will be broken down into service pistol auto and revolver. Basically no comps or scopes. If you have an IDPA rig or a USPSA Production, Single Stack rig you should be good to go.
Since there will be small prizes solicited by the correctional people and plaques for them, the scores will be divided into correctional folks and everyone else.
