Ashland Gun Club April USPSA is what you will need to search for.

Re: 40 s&w

A light fast bullet in a uncompensated gun is a handful. Would you want to shoot a match with full power 357 magnum ammo? Probably not.

For true self defense it's ok, but for USPSA go with what is tried and true. It is a waste of time to try and reinvent the wheel.

Re: 9mm 1911 in production

No. Production requires a double action/striker fired gun. Your 1911 is single action unless it is a Para LDA.

Re: 40 s&w

You will probably need a slower powder. Check some of the published load data for specifics. Normally in a un-compensated gun heavier bullets work better. 180 grain is pretty standard for a 40. Your Tightgroup would work for a180 bullet. Again use published load data since you would only need 950-10...

Re: Bare Arms match

No PCC shooter last time. Little tight, but shouldn't be a problem.

Re: Bare Arms match

Coal Field in WV is setting up the match so I don't know the round count. I would bring 125 rounds and prepare for 5 stages.

Bare Arms match

The next match at the Bare Arms Indoor Range will be January 14, 2017. Registration will be by Practiscore. There will be a classifier.

Tell your friends. The last match was great.

Re: Bare Arms Match

Don't know. Call them and tell them you want more. I heard maybe once a month.
