These sound like pretty good lessons!:)

I learned several invaluable lessons on this range day.

1. Hold over for an integrally suppressed .44mag at 400+ yards is measured in tens of feet, not inches.

2. With a high quality spotting scope, you can actually watch the bullet go down range due to it's visible vapor trail.

3. Even with a high precision sniping platform, make sure you bring a big freaking hammer. You never know when you need to make a minor scope base adjustment, or have to beat the action open in a hurry.

It did seem to help get our heart beats slowed down enough to improve our groups. At least until we started to see double.

But according to my Democrat governor of TN guns and alcohol should never be mixed even though the bill he vetoed clearly states no one may drink while carrying in a restaurant...also, I doubt any of the metals in firearms are miscible in alcohol
