Zombie Targets

Post by S Lance » Mon Jun 29, 2009 9:27 pm

The October 11 AR-15 match will feature a zombie stage. The targets came in this week. There will be a bunch of full size zombies such as this one.

I'm thinking that there may be a couple of reduced sized targets to simulate distant zombies and there will be a machete used at some point ;-)

As of right now, we have some extra zombie targets if someone would like to use a couple in a side-shoot.

Awesome

Have you figured out the machete implementation?

Got some zombe face shots if you want them.

Meant to use them in the sub-gun match but forgot.

I'm just considering options at the moment and am open to suggestions.:)

I considered the use of a baseball bat or perhaps a cricket bat instead of the machete, but I guess I'm just a zombie traditionalist at heart!

It might be possible to incorporate them. I'm pretty interested in trying to come up with a "precision" scaled target to simulate a long range shot.

I remember in a Civil War movie I think it was Glory that had Matthew Broderick as the leader of a group of black soldiers. He was using a sword to cut watermelons off of a post. Maybe you could use the head posters and tape them on some sort of melon.

Just an idea!

I'm excited beyond words for this...

Geez, now the pressure is on.:)

If you'd like to help setting up the stage, let me know.
