Here is another target in the upcoming zombie stage. This guy is going to challenge you if you don't understand the concept of sight over bore distance.

Sure, but I think you'll have to shoot last.

are there any stages involving rifle-to-sidearm transitions?

bcp will have the final word, but I don't think that there will be any transition to sidearms. (Unless you count a machete.
) You might wish to have gloves and knee and elbow pads though.

rifle-to-machete most certainly counts

It is going to be more like machete to rifle, but you get the idea. I promise you it will be fun.

Are the stages going to be major caliber rifle friendly? Finally got my new toy in, and wanted to practice for the upcoming World War Z.

I'm not sure about the other stages, but the zombie stage will be major caliber neutral. I believe it will be either a neutralized or not type scoring, with a hefty penalty for FTN's. Magazine capacity shouldn't be an issue. Make sure you know your approximate sight over bore distance for the one "precision" zombie shot.
Details on the new toy???
