Battle in the Blue Grass

Post by Chillywig » Sat Mar 20, 2010 11:12 pm

Today we spent the afternoon shooting at a range just south of Lexington KY at the Blue Grass Sportsmen's League shooting the Battle in the Blue Grass single stack and production match. Great day for a match and I had a great time.

Here is a few vids:

Damn Scooter that star looked painful. Grayson recovered great though.

Grayson should have had a reshoot. Plates must fall when hit, per rule. The plate hanging by one pin is a madatory reshoot.

Not to throw sand at anybody, but not knowing the rules can bite you in the butt in more ways than one.

Resistance is mandatory.

To be loved and resptected is desireable. To be feared will work also.

grayson was HUNGRY so the only thing he was thinking about was food.

Scooter could have had one as well when the RO was in the way.

Still trying to figure out how the guy who hooked his mags on the chair got one. His fault, stage discription did not require back to be aginst chair.

Next time can we have all the media banned from the range?

All the light, cameras, Pavarotti and big time video stars really threw Matt and me off our game.:D:D

The chair thing was wrong, and I was never consulted on that one.

Actually, Robert you should have had a reshoot also, since a forward falling popper actually fell backwards. That has to be a range equipment failure. I granted Alex Lyons a reshoot for the exact same thing. Although his reshoot took about 10-12 seconds longer than the first one.

Diana really liked seeing the video of the stage starring Danamite.

Stage 7, Don't Blink was the stage where she beat me like a drum, so it was a very good stage in her opinion ;)

We had a very good day at the range, even if we weren't on the AGC/Hunting with Hammerdick squad.

Hopefully, this was the first in a long series of Battles in the Bluegrass.
