Tried my hand at hat cam filming and it worked pretty good.

Where in the world is James Kirk anyway, is he still alive?

Nice. What kind of camera are you using?

Its a Sony Bloggie PM5. It has a rotating lens so I can lay it flat on a hat and rubber band it to the bill. The videos turned out pretty good for a first try. I think I am going to get a wide angle lens. I saw someone that makes a magnetic adaptor lens for less than 20 bucks....

Interesting idea. The picture looks pretty good now, but I guess the field of view might be a little tight. Pretty cool concept though.

That camera came with a 360 degree lens. It makes the video look like a doughnut and the camera came with software that turns it into 360 degree panoramic view. The video is really thin and probably too small but I will probably give it a try. I?m still looking for a wide angle lens. I was searching and found where someone modified the 360 lens to take a standard wide angle. That way you end up with something that easily factory mounts. Only problem was the guy spoke some Asian language. I got the gist of what he was saying but none of the specifics?.

Hes alive and been in hibernation. I have no money or time so extra shooting makes it hard. I will be out of hibernation come March.
