Well Blake and I got to put a very few rounds through the new rifle today.
I can only say I am impressed. While we were only shooting at 25-50 yards, it was very nice.
Using my Meopta with the 2 minute dot, Blake and I both shot some fairly quick doubles at 25 yards. When I shot it, the dot moved about 2 inches to the right. There is no muzzle lift at all thanks to all the features this rifle has.
Now that I think about it though, I think the straight line recoil was pushing my right shoulder back a bit causing the dot to move to the right. I think if you can shoot this rifle in more of a straight line, not a classical rifleman stance, it would be awesome.
Now it is never going to be as fast as an AR-15, but it is very nice regardless.
The fact that this rifle shoots a 308 round and handles like it does, gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling:D
I'll have it at the next USPSA match so if you have 308 ammo you can play with it.

Resistance is mandatory.
To be loved and resptected is desireable. To be feared will work also.

I have the lite weight 18 inch.Black-X wrote:You have chosen... Wisely.
Which barrel length did you go with and are you using the LMOS? I believe the LMOS comes standard but it is a huge improvement over the standard buffer/spring.
How do I tell if it is a LMOS system?

Very nice! I'm running a 22" but it's setup for long range.
I just checked, yes your carrier should be the low mass operating system as it looks like it's standard on the LRP-07. Also, I don't know if the silent capture spring is included in the package but that's what John set me up with and I think it really rounds out the package. There will either be a conventional buffer/spring system or the one piece silent capture spring. The silent capture spring makes the rifle feel extra buttery smooth.
