Post by Gunworks » Thu Dec 25, 2008 6:40 pm

Ok who got cool Christmas Swag?

All I got was a 9 Major pistol and I had to buy that myself.

I got some cool swag! A flaming pig, sling, and mount for the shorty, and I got a new Benchmade, and another Surefire Defender. I also got a lot of ammo.

But the best present came from Gunworks. He gave me my very own cold, yeap, a snotty, coughing, throat scratching illness. Thanks man, I will rememember you next year.

Stay away from Typhoid Gary, I've already got that one.

You could be Typhoid Harry:D

I got a gift certificate to Antique and Modern Firearms. Already spent it on a real nice Smith revolver made about 1921:p

By the way, I want it noted that the webmaster has had the December results for a whole 10 minutes and they are not posted yet

I'm not sure that it counts as swag, but I got a copy of Kyle Lamb's book, Green Eyes and Black Rifles. It is very up to date and Kyle presents the info in a straightforward manner. So far, I'd recommend it.

Swag, much like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. Knowing Kyle, I would count it as swag.

How are you and the original SOF's coming along? Ready to head out to Angola yet?

I'm making slow but steady progress on the SOF's. Interestingly, the things that were complained about then such as the govt, economy, terrorism, and third world dictatorships, are still pretty relevant today.
