Shotgun side match for 5/19

Post by creekerdoug » Sun May 05, 2013 9:29 pm

I would like to set up a shotgun side match for the next USPSA match. There will be 13 or 14 steel targets.

I'm thinking 3 classes:

Hunter: pump action limited to 5 rounds capacity. 870, 500, 1300 etc.

Tactical: pump or semi auto limited to 9 rounds or less

Open: run what you want.

What do think? An interest?

I'm in. That is a lot of steel though.
Resistance is mandatory.

To be loved and resptected is desireable. To be feared will work also.

I'm thinking 8 falling plates or poppers and a Texas star. The club still has a star don't you? If a star isn't available I can add a few more falling plates.

My design will be right/left neutral even though it pains me. I also want to make sure it's quick to reset to avoid a bottle neck.

How much room you need?

The only ranges I have open are 1 & 3.

I can probably get someone to change if needed but I need to know ASAP.

Range 3 would work fine for what I have in mind. Is there a star available?
