Bullets

Post by Gary Stevens » Wed Jul 03, 2013 1:52 pm

I want to give a big thanks to Bayou Bullets in Louisiana, http://www.bayoubullets.net

I told Donnie (the owner) that I would like to put in an order, but there was no big rush as I was basically buying for next year.

Donnie called today and my order is ready and will be shipped today.

Two cases of 45 (2000)
Two Cases of 9mm (5600)
One case of 38 special bullets. (1000)

I have tested all of these and they are good in my guns.

My 40 single stack guns were not fond of his 180's or 200's, but that is just my guns and different guns will have different results.

His bullets are cast, but have a polymer coating which greatly cuts down smoke.

Check them out if you are so inclined. The website indicates he has shut down due to demand. However, if you are not in a great rush shoot him an e-mail and I am sure he can help you out.

I really don't know. It seems like some sort of poly coating. I am going to shoot my 45 with them at the next match. You can get a good look at them then.
