IDPA Match on August 17, 2014

The August IDPA match will be this Sunday, August 17. Approximate round count of 94 rounds (IF you don't miss ) We should have six stages. Start time will be 10:30AM, with sign-up before then.

And the results have been sent to the webmaster for posting. That may or may not be a good thing, depending on how you did.
Doug, I still want to know the name of the witch doctor that you have been using to cast bad voodoo spells on certain 1911 cult members. His (or her) work speaks for itself.

It was a good match and a lot of fun.

You don't really need voodoo to make a 1911 choke. All you have to do put bullets in the things and try to shoot them and they will choke. Between the 3 1911s of my associates there were 7 different malfunctions and one gun quit working completely. Oddly, my oldest, most beat up Glock ran all day despite being fed my sketchy 9mm reloads. Even more odd; none of the other Glocks or CZs had any problems. I guess that just proves the 1911 is the finest fighting handgun, ever........
