Weather

Post by Bigfoot » Wed Jan 28, 2009 6:39 pm

This weather amazes me. A small snow storm and some ice are enough to bring an area like ours down on its knees.

Seriously, how bad is it going to be when the rationing stamps are handed out in the coming years and a snow storm visits us once again??

I'm amazed that people flock to stores at the first mention of theWHITE DEATH to buy bread and milk. If I think I'm gonna be snowed in, I'm buying steak and porn.

To each his own, I reckon.

Dont forget the candles and matches.

This hasent stoped me from going to work or doing anything else but then again I have an earth destroyer 4 wheel drive truck.

Shame I havent had to drive it in this.

What really pisses me off is UPS has a package I been waiting on and wont deliver it. Guess I will have to go pick it up.

Guys, don't forget toilet paper also. When SHTF comes, you don't want to have to worry about roidal flare-up, because you only had paper towels or old Guns and Ammo mags left in the house.

Well, I had plenty of, ahem, "outdoor sanitation training" when I was a kid. I am also proficient at distinguishing coal from slate, as found on railroad tracks.

Good luck, I would be trying to sell you a generator right now, but I sold out of them this morning.

That's about all G&A mags are worth anymore...my 9 month old also likes shredding them.

Speaking of generators, have they improved any over the past 15 years? Last time we used one, after frying two TVs, it was overeving almost to 290V.

Generators have come a long way, that is unless you buy cheap. The new ones have auto throttles and line conditioners built in. The Chinese import ones are questionable, I think it is a ploy by their government to make us run out to Walmart and buy replacement Chinese made electronics.
