Mine worked pretty well last night. I had a hot meal from the microwave, and got to watch the Penguins and Rangers hockey match on TV.

Hey, what's a small generator run, cost-wise? I will be in the market for one in the spring. I am putting in a shed, and I don't want to run electric from the house, and have to get it inspected, and all that. I'll be running a few power tools from time to time, maybe install a deal to connect it to the house as needed.

I figured I would build a small box to set it in, run the exhaust outside. Insulate the box to dampen the sound. I know zilch about generators, so any input is welcomed.

Well power came back on at work so am there now. Oh well not sure if am happy to be at work or not

Same here. I was kind of hoping the juice would still be off, but no such luck. Oh well, I'm taking Friday and Saturday off, so that's good. Friday I have business to take care of, and Saturday I'm going to the gun show in Morehead, if it's still on. Doesn't matter, still taking the day off, even if I just stop in and talk to Sonny Caskey and Jeff Furnish in Morehead.

Well, I was more enthused about the steaks rather than the porn anyway. I would have tried to fight the White Death for a steak, but I was afraid you would have porn on the tube.
