If you can list all the major screw ups on only three lines, you did alright.;)

robertm wrote:I know, I had a good time once again besides my major screw ups.
1. Not having the mag seated.
2. Thumb hitting my slide lock.
3. Almost missing a reload.

On the upside.
I picked up some good tips, If I was good with name I would thank them. Sense am not if you talked to me just assume it was you :)
All my reloads fired without a problems.
I picked up about 20 extra brass than I shot.
My wife didn't find out I paid for two rounds and not just one :)

Almost missing a reload on a cold day like yesterday should be a positive. Last match we shot in Sunday's temperature range, I missed my reload bad enough to throw the loaded mag down range about 15 ft. Yes, I am that talented, I just wish I could have said after it was all done, that I merely missed a reload.

All this time I thought you did that to distract the targets.

Am sure I had other major issues problem is I dont know them :)

SF tactics is to throw the mag in the air, shoot it so all the rounds go off and kill all the BGs. (Well a movie version of SF tactics anyway) :)

Hey guys, another newbie here. I'm Dave "The barrel threader" Corbin, just wanted to say I had a great time Sunday and definately plan on returning for the next shoot. Everyone I met was super cool, even met some fellow Jeep lovers, BONUS.

Special thanks to Gary for inviting, hauling, and accessorizing me with that sweet XD. (That $500 offer still stands for the STI:rolleyes:.)

Later
DAVE
