Concealed Carry Works

Post by Gary Stevens » Mon Apr 13, 2009 8:07 am

This story is interesting to say the least, considering it occurred in an AA meeting. However, all ended well, DRT.

A robber who walked into the Columbia downtown Alcoholics Anonymous center, pulled out a gun and demanded money was killed in a burst of gunfire from an AA visitor’s gun, police said.

“Gimme what you got,” witnesses quoted the robber as saying when he entered the AA building at 2015 College St. in Five Points about 10:48 p.m. Saturday. They said he brandished a .25-caliber handgun.

At that point, as one AA visitor dropped something on the floor — possibly his wallet — another AA visitor pulled out his own pistol and shot the robber “multiple times,” police said.
Resistance is mandatory.

To be loved and resptected is desireable. To be feared will work also.

Sounds like a good ending to what could have been a terrible story. Goes to show you that areas considered "criminal proof" because of their gun restrictions should be gotten rid of. I mean hell, if you aint safe in an AA meeting, where are you safe at hehe

A .25 automatic? Good lord, I wouldn't threaten a stray cat with a .25

Yet, you are OK with scaring a stray cat with an airsoft gun. Any caliber in your pocket is better than the 50AE in the safe at home.

Remember that this is the cat I shot at point-blank with a .22LR and it came back. I'm convinced it is the cat from Pet Cemetery.

Ok, ok, so it was a primer fired .22, but still....

I feel a bit weird about this being at an AA meeting, but at least you know the guy wasn't drinking and was seeking help with his problem and for sure was sober at an AA meeting. Good shoot, any sane person should know that :)
