Price gouging

Post by slade797 » Thu Nov 13, 2008 6:19 pm

Anyone run onto this locally?

A friend from work has been looking at Kel-Tec pistols for a few weeks. A large local vendor that shall remain nameless had the model he wanted at $289; today it's $319.

Is this gouging? I don't know. I do know that ammo at a lot of online vendors is going up in price.

It's hard to say what is gouging and what isn't in a (somewhat) free market. Prices have definitely gone up in anticipation that supply will go down. It's economically backwards for sure.
