The best - my Brit brother-in-law shooting it :

Afterwards he said "bloody hell, it nearly knocked my teeth out"

JESUS

The AR15 platform was not designed with that big of a round in mind lol. LMAO a Barrett has so many recoil detracting mechanisms to allow you to keep all your bones in their original places, and then you go and shoot a 50 cal AR hahaha :p

Very nice. You might try a recoil pad and maybe something on the stock to help with a better cheek weld. (Your b-i-l looks like he's fixing to get walloped.)

His PRS and Miad grip are on back-order from Brownelles. These ought to help. We scavenged the stock off of my .338 Spectre so he could abuse the Limey.:D

Just kidding Peter.

Yea, this is more or less a bastard version of what it'll be. I just couldn't stand to have it and not shoot it..

Skoal - the lower gets remarkably little stress when firing. I wouldn't have thought so at first either but after talking to the guy at BOHICA I'm a believer. Come to the range and shoot it and I think you'll be surprised at how little recoil there is. It is very comparable to a 300 RUM.

I told Peter that he didn't want to shoot it but he insisted. Who am I to deny a man his last request? What could have possibly happened? Steve was there to witness the whole thing and I'm sure would have rendered aide to Peter while I went home to get my bug-out bag and passport(s).

I am so proud.

My Hetero life-mate just used bug-out-bag in an online post.

Where were we going if it didn't turn out so well? I heard Guatemala has a decent rum.

Nope, as long as I am on the same flight onto our newest adventure. I really want to go to Guatemala.
