Beretta CX4 Storm 9mm

Post by slade797 » Fri Oct 31, 2008 8:33 pm

Found a Beretta CX4 Storm 9mm, very good/excellent condition in a pawn shop today for $400. Did some research, and this looks like a good deal. Pawnbroker said he just can't move a rifle or carbine in a pistol caliber, especially so close to deer season, and that's the reason for the low price.

I put it in layaway, paid $50 on it. Anyone have one of these, or any experience with them?

I have one of these. Actually this is what I started to shoot PCC with. The gun is awesome for reloads, but the trigger is a little rough for speed shoots. I still use this gun in winter matches where we generally stand in one place and reloads are more valuable than shooting speed. Awesome price also, now you need some high cap mags, the factory 20 somethings work very well.

The magazine in the rifle looks like the same ones my 92FS uses. If that proves to be the case, I'm stocked up on mags. I even have a 30-rounder from CTD. ;)

Same mags, now you will have to start shooting PCC with us. The only mods I did to mine was add the full length top rail and a Eotech.

Hey slade.. I hear you're an AK guy - are the rumors true?

I'm looking for a 7.62x39 AK of some sort and another 54R RPK/FPK/Romak 3 rifle (the thing has so many names..). If you know any around here for sale, let me know.

I have a Valmet in .223 and a Romak3/RPK in 7.62x54R right now - I'd like something (or a few somethings) in x39 if I can get it.

I'm also looking for more RPKs reasonably priced. I love that junker!

Oh MAN! I got the CX4 out of layaway yesterday, fired it today. I have to say, it is loads of fun to shoot, and it was a mistake to take only three 32-round mags to the range. Very accurate, no recoil, I love it!

I also like the way the weapon is made. The words "neat" and "clever" came to mind several times when I was taking it apart and re-assembling it.
