Gary Stevens wrote:Sometime after the weather breaks, maybe April, myself and a few others are going to host a new shooters clinic at the range.

This will be to welcome our new shooters, bring them up to speed on our range rules, safety issues, score sheet problems, basic marksmanship and some shooting drills, magazine exchanges, and just about anything we can think of.

I am thinking this should be on a Saturday afternoon. Perhaps 12 Noon until whatever time we get through.

If you are interested, respond to this thread so I can see how many warm bodies we might have.

Gary,
Did you ever decide if,when, how you are going to do this? I'm with Scott-I'd be willing to help/learn/get in the way also. Heaven knows I could be poster child for what not to do during a match!:p

Right now I am leaning toward April 25, the day before our scheduled match in April.

Guess we now have a plan.

Gary will teach new shooters what and how.

Matt will demonstrate what not to do.

And I will just walk around sporting high dollar pistols (that I cant shoot) to impress and overwhelm.

Sadly, sometimes our purpose in life is to serve as a teaching example for others.;)

So, I can break out the cheer leading outfit and show the new guys how to gain style points?
