Please provide a general description to include acceptable guns, target ranges, # rounds, shooting positions, etc.

Thanks,

36 rounds minimum, 50 yards max, stand up on your hind legs & shoot with the exception of the last position of approx. 6 targets through a port.

About any rifle will work, but what did you have in mind?

Thanks for the quick reply. I have an S.A. M1A that I have not shot much yet so I would probably not be very accurate off hand at 100 yds; I should be OK for 50. I prefer the challenge of open sights so no optics. The match sounds like a good time to help break in the rifle and the close targets are good for a person as steady as a drunken monkey

You may also want to check out Scott's reply to "Side shoot question" in the Class & Division section.

Sounds like you're good to go, though.:D

Gosh, I sure hope some of the Mauser shooters decide to take a run at the "manually operated" division this year....... I'd even shoot my old manually operated rifle right handed to level the playing field.........;)

Will an 03A3 or 1917 do?
Resistance is mandatory.

To be loved and resptected is desireable. To be feared will work also.

Yes sir. Either would do very nicely. I prefer the K31 Schmidt Rubin. MRB has seen it in action.
