Hello friends, I have a jr. shooter wanting to start shooting matches. He has a Gen. 3 glock 9mm but it is still to big for his hands. Would anyone know what pistol system would have a really shorter trigger reach for him to start out on?

Thanks

I know a Glocksmith in Ohio that does grip reductions and reshaping. That might help out.

Thats an idea I had not thought of. I have a gen 4 gluck on the way, I will see if that is a better fit. Thanks Gary.

Jay, I know Grayson was a litte older(13) when he started and a plain old xd fit his hand pretty good. It's almost 1911 size. I've got a couple 9 tacticles 5" if you want to take one for him to try.

Scooter, I might take you up on it one day this summer, if he starts coming to the matches more often. I am hoping a Gen 4 glock will help. If not he can shoot .22 until he is ready.

Thanks

Anything to get another jr shooting. Grayson is almost out of the jr stage but I'm still going to be persistent about people getting kids involved. I've begged people at work to come and shoot and bring their kids. I don't know what the problem is. Nobody comes. I know Grayson and I bitch at each other but shooting has given us alot more time together. And that's what kids nowadays need. Time with good people. I'd trust my son with anyone we shoot with.
