yes, the 625 is legal. I have one too. I think that IDPA limits to 4". but here you can go as long as you want. I think that a 10" barrel would not be practical, but if you got it you can shoot it.

so my CR holster isn't legal? damit i sold my other stuff so i'd be able to have one holster fit all my guns.

I use the CR Speed holster. It covers the trigger and the but is below the belt. This is what most use...if it matters it is what Miculek uses.

I have some questions about the range.

How many usable bays are there?

How many rounds do you guys usually shoot at a match?

How many rounds is too much?

Just want to get an idea before I make plans for the set-up.

I would think a maximum of 100 rounds would suffice.

For those without moon clips or speed loaders 6 would probably be enough.

Can I shoot my 36 cal cap and ball?

With the economy the way it is it looks like we would not have so many people trying to become comedians with so little talent. Alas, we have to have dreams. Since jokes are not your thing maybe shooting is. The cap and ball would be great. It would ensure that I at least beat one.
