ICORE Sunday March 14, 2010

Post by Wheelgunner » Sat Mar 06, 2010 3:22 pm

I am excited about the new shooting season. I will be setting up on Saturday at 4pm if anyone would like to come and help. There will be 4-5 stages and should be between 100-125 Rounds. I am wanting to try to get some more participation from other shooters. I have a 625 and a rig to shoot it in. It needs a little work, but it is right there at being a competitor. I will be shooting my 627 that I have a rig for and if I am shooting the 625 for the sp101(for god knows what reason) any one is welcome to shoot if they bring some bullets. There are going to be a few different classes and they are listed at the bottom of the post. I will have two classifers for the match and two or three creations. I may try to steal from other major shoots. I will be posting them on the webpage I have set up for it. It is a work in progress and I have no idea what I am doing. The website is:

http://www.eteamz.com/agcicore/

I will have a match announcment as well as maybe the courses of fire up by Monday. I will try to email them to Mitch but I lost his email address. Lets hope he reads all of the new post.

The divisions are below. We would love for the guys to grab the Model 10, or that old ruger or tarus out of the safe spend 30 bucks on gear and come shoot it. Scooter and Grayson wear it out with some old school wheel guns and do pretty well. MRB uses a J frame, and has bought a damn LCR for this year. Come on out.

Open - ICORE Rules Comps and Optics
Limited - ICORE Rules No Comps No Optics
Limited - 6 shooter Same as above but six guns only
Limited - Retro Division Speed Loaders no Moons
Snubby - 3" or less both open and limited as per ICORE rules
Bug - 5 shot small frame revolvers

Ten bucks a run hammers down about 10:30 give or take. Shoot as many classes as you like. I hope to see a big turnout.

Long as it doesn't rain :D

My luck is that if I shoot in the rain this week I'll be sick as a dog for Bluegrass next week!

Grayson and I are coming to shoot but were cheating like HELL. Grayson is going to shoot his single stack and I'm going to shoot the old XD, hell I just bought a edge and here I am shooting a xd in a production match. Really we have to get ready for the bluegrass and with the weather and missed matches we've not done much shooting.
