Big +1 for Dave, The Barrel Threader Guy

Post by Hairy78 » Tue Feb 24, 2009 12:42 pm

+1, for our new member Dave. I got my threaded barrels back this morning, and the work is top notch. Don't hesitate to give him your business. Plus his turn around time is amazingly fast.

Thanks

I can vouch for that-looked good. What else do you do, Dave?

Thanks a lot guys. Between Jason (owner of Shep's Sportsworld who went to Denver, Co to gunsmithing college) and I we can pretty much do anything. He is very good with the mechanical workings of semiautos and pumps, and does very good trigger jobs. I do all the machining. I built custom rifles, mostly rebarreling factory actions with Hart/Lilja/Shilen/Kreiger blanks, both centerfire and rimfire. Do a lot of pillar and glass bedding. Lots of drilling and tapping for scope bases, sights, and rails. I have rebarrelled a S&W revolver, and even an old falling block to 219 Donaldson Wasp (never again). I've fluted AR-15 bull barrels, I think I did one for Gary.

I've been studying the 1911's very hard for a few months now. I have fitted oversized bushings, they're a piece of cake. About to start fitting slides and barrels (when I get the funds).

I have both a lathe and a mill so we can do pretty much anything.

See ya at the next shoot

DAVE,

Got some new projects for you guys. I have a couple of GSG 5's, that are crying for some suppressors. I will talk to you at the next match.

Thanks

Yep, +1 for Dave from me, too. My two .22s look great. Now if the ATF will send me the paperwork for that thingie I can screw on the end.....

From I-64 at Morehead take 32 west, we are 18 miles out on the left, 4 miles before you get to Flemingsburg.

Thank to everyone for their compliments

Hey Gary, I think we've got your AR going. Ran 15 through without a hiccup. Before we could only get 2 then snap.

Extra cool. I might just have to make a run down that way tomorrow.

Thanks much.
