I was still fighting the urge to buy a STI two weeks ago. (I've since pretty much caved in to it.)

Did you get a folder? You could always buy another rifle to put in the stock.

I have a Rem SPS tactical in 308 with a Bushnell Elite 6X24X50 mil dot tactical scope I set up last year. My plan was to keep the rifle under a grand when I started but went a little over because of the 4200 variable scope instead of the 3200 10X fixed. I thought about picking up a HS or AI stock sometime this year. The gun shoots about .60" or better the way it sits. I just never have been able to justify nearly doubling the price of the gun to get under half inch groups outside of the stock looks way better than factory. I guess my long winded question is how bad do you really want to sell???

If your rifle is routinely shooting .6" groups, I don't believe I'd change anything!:)
